We’ve added a new Details Drawer to Service Reqs in KarLink.
This new side panel is designed to give advisors, technicians, and countermen a cleaner way to view important req information without cluttering the main req screen. The main page stays focused on the active work, while the new Details button gives you quick access to the extra information you may need throughout the day.

What’s in the Details Drawer?
When you open the drawer, you’ll now be able to view:
Important req dates such as Created, Submitted, Completed, and Approved
Assignment details including the advisor, technician, and counterman connected to the req
Vehicle and customer information in one easy-to-read space
A new Activity section showing changes made to the req, jobs, and parts

Why this matters
The new Details Drawer helps keep everyone on the same page.
Whether you’re checking when a req was approved, reviewing who added a job, or looking back at changes made to parts, the new drawer makes it easier to follow the history of the req without digging through the page.
This update is especially helpful for teams that work together across service and parts, because it gives more visibility into what has happened on a req and when.
What stays the same
The main Service Req page is still built around the work that matters most: jobs, parts, pricing, and status updates. The difference is that the supporting information now has a better home.
This means less clutter on the main screen and faster access to the details when you need them.
Try it out
Open any Service Req in KarLink and click the Details button to open the new drawer.
We’ll continue building on this area over time, but this is the first step toward making record details and activity history easier to access across KarLink.
